how it works

To get started with our service you can sign up online with the link below or if you would prefer call us (289-686-0668), or email us info@greenbabydiapers.com, and we would be happy to get you started. 

For expecting mothers, your first order will arrive two (2) weeks before your anticipated due date, and then just let us know when your baby arrives or you are ready to start your regular service. If your little one is already here we will do our best to get you started within 2 weeks of signing up. Once you have signed up we will follow up via phone or email within seventy-two (72) hours to confirm the details. 

Your first order will include, a one (1) week supply of cloth diapers, an odor and weather proof diaper pail liner and any other services or add-ons you have requested. We will also have a rental agreement and a print out of our policies for you to sign. This is the only delivery you will need to be home for, so we will arrange a time that is convenient for you. This will also give us an opportunity to determine where we should leave your clean diapers each week, as each home is unique.

Diaper Pail - A 14 gallon plastic diaper pail with a carbon puck that helps to eliminate odors. This fits the diaper pail liners that your clean diapers will be delivered in and holds a one (1) week supply of diapers. There is a twenty five dollar ($25) one time rental fee and the pail must be returned with your final diaper pick up.   

Diaper Covers - Our diapers require a moisture resistant cover that prevents leaking. Our weekly service and basic trial package come with two (2) covers. You can rent additional covers for $1 per week. We provide  mother- ease airflow sized covers for the perfect fit. The covers are your responsibility to wash. Please do not put them in you diaper bag as they cannot withstand the high temperatures we wash at. We will exchange the covers for larger sizes as your baby grows.

Cloth Wipes - Our cotton terry wipes are chemical free and gentler on your baby's bottom than disposables and they can be thrown right in your diaper pail. We provide as many as you need, starting with a 85/week for an additional five dollars ($5)/week.

It is as easy as that! Your clean diapers will arrive each week in our odor and weather proof diaper pail liner as well as any add-ons you have ordered for the week. Simply take the clean diapers out of your pail liner and begin putting your soiled diapers in. No rinsing required; we will do the hard work for you. 

We offer the following standard sizes*:

Small newborn to 15 pounds 

Medium newborn to 20 pounds 

Large 15-25 pounds 

XLarge 25+ pounds

Fitted diapers have multiple snaps so that you can adjust them to get the right fit for your baby. 

Once you have signed up, we will follow-up with you to determine the best size for your little one (*we can get other sizes if one of our standard sizes does not work for your baby).

On your delivery day, simply remove your odor and weather proof bag from your diaper pail and place it in the designated location prior to 9 am. We will pick it up and replace it with your weekly supply of clean diapers and any add-ons you have ordered. 

Newborns typically go through seventy (70) diapers per week. If you need more/less diapers just let us know. We will email or text you the day before your delivery to let you know how many diapers you will be receiving that week.  

When we bring the diapers back to Green Baby Diapers, we wash them and sanitize them in our commercial washing machine with hot water (min temp of 170°) and our commercial dryer with high heat to ensure all bacteria is killed. We do separate loads of laundry for each customer, therefore you will always get your diapers back. All diapers are stripped between customers to ensure there is no cross contamination. 

We have a nine (9) step washing process with multiple flushes, washes and rinses to ensure your diapers are thoroughly cleaned each week. We use Kind Laundry Detergent. It is an “environmentally oriented solvent-alternative that is exceptionally gentle on skin. Kind Laundry Detergent, and it's packaging, contain no parabens, sulfates, animal-byproducts, pesticides, phthalates, EDTA, petroleum-based ingredients, synthetic colors, mineral oil or synthetic fragrances. It does not contain enzymes, fluorescent whitening agents, NTA, phosphates, artificial dyes, artificial fragrance nor other traditional toxic ingredients. Kind Laundry Detergent is manufactured in Canada using "North American materials” (mother-ease) and Laundry Miracle, a safe and effective bleach alternative that is gentle enough for your baby’s skin.
